  1. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) listed above is truly amazing! I have been a member for a year now and have already renewed my membership for a second year. I attended their National Conference in Indianapolis this past April and found it to be a great learning opportunity (plus there were lots of great resources and freebies!). They also have a great website.

  2. I’ve been so bombarded with advertisements for new materials and manipulatives that I had forgotten about the good old Cuisinaire rods I used 20-something years ago! It’s great to see the new ETA!

  3. I have been a member of NSTA and NCTM for several years. These are both great resources for teachers. It does cost a little money, but it’s money well spent!
