  1. What’s Your Favorite Animal? is amazing. Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. What a way to encourage children’s imaginations!

  2. Wow it sure would take care of winter blahs to win this. This is our 4th snow day of the month due to extreme cold.
I love the new Eric Carle book.

  3. We have more snow and wind coming in now and reading is a great way to spend those cold days. I know my students would love the new Eric Carle book. Stay warm.

  4. The Junior Genuis Guides by Ken Jennings look amazing! We recently explored a unit on Greek mythology and my students were so excited to learn about the myths and Gods. Any of his books would be great!

  5. I am a huge fan of Ken Jennings. I think he could have bet so much more money each day on Jeopardy but he was so conservative. He donated lots of his money to his church, now he writes and shares his knowledge with children, great guy! It would be an honor to share his books with the class.

  6. Free books are always cures for the winter blahs! I felt most inspired by your post about the free classroom book published by TheMailbox.com. This sounds like an excellent deal for teachers in schools where they don’t have the equipment to bind books for the kids. How exciting would it be for the students to feel like REAL authors when they get the finished project in the mail?!? I am going to share this with our local group called HOPE for Teachers in Hampton Roads–so thanks! As the organizer for the group, I would also give the free book prize to the teachers. Thank you so much for this chance to win! 🙂

  7. The Seven Swords book looks like the perfect adventure to engage a young reader’s mind during the bitter cold days of wind and snow! It seems like it would take the reader into a whole new world!
