Tuesday, May 12 is International Nurses Day! Nurses truly save lives. And in our current pandemic situation they deserve more thanks than we can give them. Tomorrow, have young students draw pictures and compose thank you cards to nurses. Have older students complete this Florence Nightingale passage and questions. It’s not a coincidence that May 12 is also Florence Nightingale’s birthday!

If you know any nurses you can give them a thank you note along with some snacks treats or some food. If you have children let them color and give it or put in the mailbox.
I think they should get a thank you note and some extra cash to treat themselves.
Especially when their under so much stress with this coronavirus.
