  8. As we live in Houston, TX, most of my students have little to no exposure or knowledge of snow. I’m always looking for new ideas, books, and materials. Thank you, Learning Magazine.

  9. My kindergarten class just started a weather unit this week. 19 out of 20 students are English Language Learners and they are learning about the different types of weather. We live in Northern California and many of the students have never seen or experienced snow. I love the Ezra Jack Keats book A Snowy Day! I am trying to build my library with books about weather. The Big Snow book also looks wonderful. I like all the wonderful ideas about snow. Thank you!

  10. The Snowy Day is one of my favorite winter books. It’s so easy to use it with my autistic students. I have created many activities to use witn the book. Your links were greet, too.
Now I have more activities to use with my favorite winter book.
