I Scream, You Scream

Blog-skeletonI scream, you scream, we all scream for Halloween! I think this phrase usually features ice cream. However, since Halloween is this Friday, I couldn’t resist! Is your week packed with pumpkins, bats, and spiders? Or perhaps you and your students are investigating the skeletal system this week? Hey, speaking of bones, check out these riddles that are sure to tickle some funny bones!

What bone has a super sense of humor? (humerus)

What did the rib cage say to the lungs? (Got you covered!)

What did the foot bone say to the leg bones? (Stay with me, and you’ll go places!)

Please tell me about your week!

Boo!

  1. Today we went to the apple orchard, Thursday and FRiday are parties and Halloween walks. Tomorrow night a family fun night.
In the classroom we are making firendly halloween wind socks and pumpkin pounding will continue./

  2. Crazy, busy week!

Our principal moved the Halloween party to Thursday because Friday will be the costume fashion show and a parade. (Plus, I’ve got 2 student birthdays on the day of the Halloween party!)

Our classroom activities are full of ideas I’ve found at The Mailbox. Tomorrow we are making silly spider patterns. Cannot wait to see how they turn out. 🙂
