  1. My favorite fall flavor is a combination of fall spices – cinnamon, ginger, molasses, and nutmeg. Our family enjoys “New England Ginger Cookies” from October to January … at Christmas we call them “Smells Like Christmas” Cookies. Whenever my children get home and smell these treats baking in the oven they yell …”Smells like Christmas in here!”

  2. I actually have two… The first is ginger whether in ale, bread, etc. The other is licorice… for whatever reason I associate it with fall.

  3. Autumn is my favorite season. It brings colorful leaves, cool temperature & breezes, My favorite Autumn thing to do is to a walk through the park or forest and hear the leaves crunch under my feet. Also to rake the leaves on my land into big piles and jump into them.

  4. Autumn is my favorite season here in the Adirondack
I love sharing this exciting season with my first grade class with many leaf & apple activities!

  5. There is no doubt that pumpkin is my favorite reminder of fall. I love seeing them and tasting them in pies and breads! Fall is my favorite season!!

  6. My favorite “flavor” is wood smoke. There’s nothing like the smell of the first wood fire in the stove or fireplace.

  7. My favorite fall flavor is pumpkin. I bake pumpkin muffins with a cream cheese frosting and of course pumpkin pie!

  8. My favorite fall flavors are apple and pumpkin. I also love butternut squash soup with coconut curry! I love to read “One Hungry Monster” to the children in my childcare and then make apple muffins (like the one the boy finds in the end of the story) with them!
