Get Creative! Win One of Three Books from Workman Publishing

If you ask me, Halloween is the most creative holiday. There are few rules and lots of opportunities to have some fun (not to mention chances to eat candy!). To celebrate that creativity, we’re giving away an exciting new book from Workman Publishing. Go: A Kidd’s Guide to Graphic Design introduces the ideas of color, typography, and more to students ages 10 and up. The book’s author, Chip Kidd, has worked on more than 1,000 book covers and walks kids through the idea that they make design decisions every day. It’s a great read for adults too! (Update: congratulations to Kari, Sherry, and Gloria, who were our winners.)

  1. I like the wikki sticks! As a preschool teacher it gives my class a chance to be creative as well as helping them with their fine motor’

  2. I love them all…Wikki sticks are a great resource to have in the class for many activities, but the GO book looks great as well.

  3. I would really like to win the Multi-Sensory Resource to use with my multiple disabilities special education class. We would have so much fun!

  4. I have such creative kids this year and they love writing stories. How cool would it be to teach them about creating book covers for their stories? I would love to win a copy of this book!

  5. Crayola is just such a staple. No other color company can compare. This is how I know. I bought a few packs of Crayola crayons, colored pencils and markers for the class to share. Each night as I pick up the floor I find all the other brands on the floor not the Crayola. The other brands get thrown in the trash , not the Crayola.
