Free Common Core Activities—Plus WIN a Book Series About Animals

Have you ever heard of the golden toad? What about the Japanese river otter? These creatures are now extinct, and countless other creatures—such as Asian elephants, Ganges dolphins, purple frogs, and speartooth sharks—are endangered. A new book series from Lerner Publications Lightning Bolt Books, “Endangered and Extinct,” tells the tales of these creatures and shows students how everyday actions affect the animals. Scroll down to comment on this week’s blog post. One lucky teacher will win a set of five books from this series!
