Flying Things

I have flying things on my mind—two different types of flying things, in particular. The first type is birds. I’ve purchased two bird feeders and have attached them to my deck. If I sit really still, chickadees, house wrens, and cardinals will fly right up next to me and get sunflower seeds from the feeders. However, sitting really still brings me to my other type of flying thing—mosquitoes. Swarms of mosquitoes are on standby just waiting to get me. And me slapping and swearing scares away the birds. (Maybe I should investigate mosquito repelling products!)

Since I’m focused on flying critters, here are some activities that go right along with my current frame of mind!
