Feeling Like a Superhero? Or a Super Zero? We Have the Book You Need (Enter to Win!)

Here we come to save the day! The new book Even Superheroes Make Mistakes follows superheroes who sometimes nab the wrong guy or bungle their speeches at the Hero Convention. But instead of slumping into despair, they still fly out of bed, polish their boots, and zoom into the day, ready to try again. Sound like anyone you know?

Submit a comment to this blog to rate your week so far on a scale of super zero to superhero (0 to 10). (Update: Congratulations to Katrina, who is the winner of our prize!) If we get your comment by Wednesday, December 26, you’ll be entered into our random drawing for a chance to win this book. Good luck!

Grab your superhero cape and fly off to check out these super freebies:

Help students learn sight words, math facts, and much more in a flash with the free Flash Cards Maker from Lakeshore. So many possibilities!

Ready to chill out a bit? Cosmic Kids offers a free, 60-minute yoga crash course covering the key elements of teaching yoga to kids. You’ll get free sample class plans and games, too. Check it out at cosmickids.com/kids-yoga-crash-course.

  1. This week has been tough – probably a 3. Dealing with behavioral students during the holiday season is always a more challenging time for my classroom, especially for those who have experienced trauma. This book looks like a must-have for my classroom library. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I’d say I started last week at a 5, but today I’m feeling like a 9 …. It’s amazing how much better you feel once you make progress on your TO DO list. Feeling a bit like Wonder Woman right now …
