, 2016, to tell me which of the contests below you’ve entered. (I’ll be happier than a squirrel in a nest of acorns if you tell me all of them!) From the comments, I’ll randomly select one teacher to win the book, CD, and DVD for Scaredy Squirrel at Night, a nutty adventure of a squirrel problem-solving his way to a good night’s sleep.  (Update: congratulations to Dede, who is the winner of our prize.)

  1. I’d love to enter and win all of these great contests. However, every one of them tells me my zip code doesn’t match my state and won’t let me enter. 🙁
My class loves Scaredy Squirrel and we don’t yet have Scaredy Squirrel at Night!

    • Hi Melissa,
We haven’t been experiencing any problems with this, can you send me your zip code and state so we can test? All of the ones I tried are working okay, so it might be specific to that zip.

We want to make sure you will be able to enter! Thanks!

  2. I love different ergonomic scissors. I never could get it right in Kindergarten, and I still have trouble. I’m still searching for a pair that will work with my hands.

  3. I so appreciate when businesses and teachers offer free items for teachers. I pay for most materials out of my own pocket so when something is offered for free I am right there. I have entered contests where I have won items that are above my grade level. Those winning items were given to other teachers who found them a blessing as well. I entered all the above contests in hopes of being the fortunate winner of at least one.

Scaredy Squirrel would be helpful for so many of the students not only in my class but other students in my building. We have a number of students who are having sleep issues as well as some issues with fear of common situations and items. The use of a familiar animal with the same issues that the children have allows for them to connect with the story and feel that it is okay that they are feeling the way they do.

  4. My classroom is all about the love of reading! I would love to win the 50 books that are ready to read for my classroom library and Scaredy Squirrel with the CD for my listening center. Thank you for running these contests!

  5. Our class LOVES Scaredy Squirrel! That would be such a great addition to our classroom library! Of course, the incredible Elmer’s Glue prize package would be amazing … my class gets excited when we get mail of any kind – postcards, letters from previous students, notes from the ‘clean desk fairy,’ you name it .. they LOVE mail. If we received a giveaway, they would probably faint! Thanks so much for all you do to help teachers!!
    Have a great day!
    Karen

  6. Would love to be able to read my class Scaredy Squirrel, I think they would get a kick out of it. Sharing a good story time with them is always the best 🙂

  7. I am an elementary music teacher and Scaredy Squirrel is great with xylophones going “up” and “down” the tree! I entered the Elmer’s Glue prize package because I am always creating song charts for my students (to track the words) and I am a glue stick junkie. Thanks for the special offer. I love the Mailbox and all the products they offer teachers to make their lives easier~ Deb

  8. I must be nuts! I entered all the contest. My pockets will be stuffed with glue and scissors to help Survive the school year!

  9. I entered many of the contests! Any chance at winning extra materials to support student learning is greatly appreciated :). I would love to win the Scaredy Squirrel book set, which would go great with our nocturnal animal theme.

  10. I really need the scissors and glue. I teach Kindergarten and we use scissors and glue every day. Thanks for offering great things for teachers. May God Bless You !

  11. Love the opportunity to win books, my class loves reading stories! I entered the ready to read and I entered ergo scissors contest because we are just learning and the extra help from those scissors would be great! This scaredy squirrel looks like a great book! I’ve never even heard of these books until today can’t wait to read them!

  12. I’d love to win a copy of Scaredy Squirrel! I entered the Elmer’s Glue contest first but now I’m going to enter some of the other contests.

  13. I’ve entered the last two and this one scaredy squirrel since I just found this site I would love to win this contest as it would be an awesome book to read to my class #first time teacher
