Except for our eUnits for preschool, our eUnits are aligned to Common Core State Standards for the convenience of teachers who are held to these standards.   1. Anything and everything with my own kids…I have to make up for all the time I miss with them throughout the school year!

  2. One of my favorite summertime activities is crafting. I don’t get a lot of time during the school year to do this, so I enjoy the scrapbooking, wood crafts, paper crafts, and making homemade gifts for family and friends!

  3. My favorite summer activity is having family cookouts, complete with watermelon and making smores ! Yum!!!

  5. No alarm clock is my favorite thing to do in summer. I love waking up to the sounds of birds and not the buzz of an alarm clock.

  6. I love spending time with my family! My husband is also a teacher, so we both have summers off. Being able to spend time with the kids is so important. They really do grow too quickly! This summer, we are looking forward to a trip to Walt Disney World!!

  7. I know this sounds cheesy, but not having a bathroom schedule! I don’t have to wait for prep time or lunch timevor dismissal time … I can go when I want to! 😀

  8. My favorite summertime activity is spending the afternoons at the local amusement park with my two boys.

  9. My favorite summer activity is to go to the beach. I love to walk on the beach in the morning and then to sit in my beach chair with my toes in the sand and read, sleep, and read some more.

  10. I love eating fresh fruits and veggies that are in season and found at outdoor markets… then following up with a yummy ice cream treat!

  11. By midnight everyone is asleep. It’s quiet. I put on the tv, get my chocolates, and watch a silent movie. Heaven! 😀

  12. Spending time with the family at the beach building sandcastles and reading then returning home to sit by the campfire and talk about our day, I also like to research new ideas for my kindergarten class.

  13. My favorite summertime activity is shopping at garage sales…you never know what treasures you might find!

  14. My favorite summertime activity is riding my ATV through the National Forest. It’s beautiful and relaxing!

  15. My favorite summertime activity is just relaxing and enjoying life. Getting up in the morning without having to rush off to work, is a reward in itself during summer.

  16. My favorite summertime activity is to do something: crafting, yoga, cycling, walking, and watching the grass grow!

  17. Working at camp! I get to see my kiddo’s , meet new ones and do all the outdoor activities we couldn’t this long, cold winter.

  18. One of my favorite summertime activities is making ice cream with the kids. Watching their anticipation while they are churning, and then the smile as they taste the ice cream they made themselves…priceless!

  19. My favorite thing to do in the summer is to keep my two-year-old home from daycare and spend the days being Mommy!

  20. I love doing anything with my family. We always look forward to vacation and mini trips. One of our favorite things to do is reading in bed.

  21. During the summer I enjoy going out on the deck, in the morning, sitting in a comfy chair and getting lost in a good book.

  22. I love to swim, but don’t do it often. I spend my summer doing projects around my house, entertaining my granddaughter and attending college.

  23. Well I would say sleeping in but with a new baby that is a thing of the past! So, anything that pertains to me being able to relax- reading, pool time, vacationing.

  25. In the summertime I love to sit on the front porch in my rocking chair and relax. I love to work on crafts & most of all I do a lot of pinteresting for new ideas for the upcoming school year!!

  26. As a 2nd grade teacher, I love catching up on sleep with mid afternoon naps and reorganizing my home after the hectic school year. It’s a wonderful feeling not to have any demands on my time. 🙂 Happy summer, y’all!

  28. Relaxing picnics with our children followed by time at the pool reading, swimming, and playing. No rushing or hurrying is the best part of summer.

  39. I enjoying reading at my house in Big Bear. I don’t get up there as much as I would like during the school year.

  40. Even though my children now have children of their own – we all the time we spend camping together for a week, relaxing, playing, and four wheeling. Its a family tradition that I look forward every year!

  41. I love vacationing on Cape Cod with my family and reading books that will be used over the next school year with my fourth grade class.

  42. My favorite summer activity is reading and staying home and watching with my daughter and her friends enjoy the pool!

  43. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. Honestly, the majority of my time is filled with thinking of ways to improve for the next school year!

  44. Spending quality time with friends and family! Relaxing and catching up with everything that has slipped by while I focused on my class.

  46. Reading! Reading is my passion and my way to live through books, which I rarely get to read during the school year!
