Easy as 1-2-3: Win This Clever Pop-Up Book

I remember my first pop-up book; it was so magical! Despite today’s kids’ love of all things electronic, pop-up books still have a strong appeal. And this week you could win one!

The World-Famous Book of Counting features one master magician, two glamorous assistants, three disappearing balls, four fluttering doves, and much more. For a chance to win it, submit a comment to this blog to let us know when your last day of school is/was. Send that comment by 11:59 pm on June 6. One lucky teacher will be randomly selected to win!

Here are some other freebies that popped out at me this week; take a look:

Code Monster and Code Maven provide a free online, step-by-step introduction to programming. Try them out yourself, then introduce them to your class. It’s all at crunchzilla.com.

Warm up, review, and add to the fun with the ready-to-try games at baamboozle.com. You’ll find more than 180 free games to choose from. Take a look here.

Check out the new interactive math practice available at iknowit.com. The site is free through August 1. Click here.

In our area school doesn’t end until June 12. It’s been a very cool spring, but we’re assuming we won’t have any more snow days before then!
