  1. Everyday in my classroom is a day of thinking out of the box. My special needs students have diverse needs that require multimodal instruction each and every day.

  2. I can always use new ideas for thinking outside of the box. Especially when you have challenging children in the classroom.

  3. I think I’m more outside the box. I am always creating new activities to go with each theme we are studying. I tend to stay away from worksheets and do more hands-on activities.

  4. I love the idea of thinking out of the box and it would help get rid of all the boxes from my online shopping! ????

  5. Outside of the box. You never know what might happen in my classroom. One discussion at circle time can have my plans scratched and off we go in a new and exciting direction.

  6. I like to think I’m teaching out of the box in our inquiry setting! I love integrating Design Thinking projects into my day. I’m moving from 3rd to teaching K-2 Science and I’m so excited for a new challenge! I think this book would be a great resource!

  7. I am always looking of “out of the box” type things. I play musical chairs for spelling or phonics. We do Go Noodle for brain breaks. I even have flexible seating. I am looking for more ways to enhance learning.

  8. I run an after-school club for elementary kids called Bookends. The best part? You don’t have to read the book in order to participate! By the end of the program, you’ll want to, though! We are totally out of the box, using our imaginations and hands to work together to problem-solve. I LOVE this challenging job and the opportunity to encourage a love of reading through play!

  9. Having a child with his own set of thought processing has made me an out of the book thinker. And some times where it leads you can be a whole new adventure!

  10. Out of the box for sure. Loved the fun with boxes. Every year for the past 5 yrs I have held a auto show since we are a suburb of Detroit. The kids and parents create a car from a box. It’s so fun and always so creatitive. We have been in the paper several times for it. Would love to learn more things to do with boxes

  11. I would love this book for my class as we have a tinkering or imagination station set up in our room. This book would be a great addition as we encourage them to try and think outside the box everyday. Parent’s send us boxes all the time and this book would be a great addition to our center.
