We have snow here in the North Carolina Piedmont! Alright, I realize that’s not a big deal for you northern folks, but when flurries are in the forecast here, we hunker down with milk; bread; and, in my case right now, cookies! (I have two, yes two, Girl Scouts in my family!) So I’m ready to embrace winter with cool resources, from Snowy Day Month materials to $250,000 in prizes to inspire change.
I enjoyed my first snowflakes last weekend. I’m a southern gal now but had traveled north for a few days. Was I thrilled when snow started to fall? You bet! (My northern companions? Not so much.) When the weather cools down, I love to bundle up—whether it’s donning a warm sweater or bundling up perfect-for-teachers freebies and chances to win!
Three cheers for October! Cheer one is for the signs of autumn—my favorite season, I might add! Cheer two is for the onslaught of holidays and festivities that are right around the corner. (Take a deep breath; there’s still plenty of time.) And, most importantly, cheer three is for the freebies, contests, and goodies I have for you today!
Don’t you love it when you find new books that also link to free resources for your class? How about when the resources are aligned to standards? (Are you getting tingly yet?) I know I was excited when I found the books and resources featured in today’s blog and couldn’t wait to share them with you!
What do presidents, dragons, and Duck Tape have in common? For one, I’d wager that Duck Tape has been used by presidents and for dragons. But for teachers, they represent fabulous resources for your classroom and exciting chances to win! Plus win four books for Presidents’ Day.
I’ve got love on my mind. I’m thinking about how much you’re going to love, love, love the fun freebies and helpful tools I’ve found. Pranksters and cows, pirates, a family event, and professional supplies—I’ve got something for you no matter what grade you teach! Plus win two books to get ready for Valentine’s Day!
Glittery tinsel, festive hellos, and surprise doughnuts from not just one but two coworkers today have put me in the holiday spirit. So I’m here to share the joys of December with freebies that you can use all year long as well as a chance to win a $1,000 gift card! Cha-ching!
What would you get if you had funds donated for your classroom? New books for your class library? Musical instruments? Would you take your students on an educational field trip? You may be able to make your classroom wishes come true!
