Books to Win Plus Tons of Free Teacher’s Guides

Clementine, Elephant and Piggie, Serafina, Percy Jackson, the Pigeon, Knuffle Bunny—the list reads like a guest list at a superstar Hollywood party. Those are just some of the educator guides available for super-famous, super-popular titles from Disney Books. Plus, at TheMailbox.com/disneybooks, each month a lucky teacher wins a class set of 30 copies of the featured book for his or her grade.

To give you a sampling, I have three great Disney Books to give away, including John, Paul, George, & Ben; Light in the Darkness; and Soldier Song. Each one has a free teacher’s guide, too. To enter our contest, submit a comment to this blog by October 17, 2018, and let me know which of these three books looks most enticing to you (but don’t worry, you’ll still win all three!). One teacher will be randomly selected to win!

  1. Soldier’s Song would be my first pick…lately there seems to be a lot of revisionist history in children’s books, so this one seems the safest…not promoting some agenda.

  2. Soldier song sounds like it will be interesting and filled with stories and facts from soldiers. And a good pick since veterans day is near.

  3. Even though these are above my kindergarten reading level, I would love to have John, Paul, George and Ben in our library for the other students to enjoy.

  4. Light in the Darkness sounds interesting to me. I have not read any of them but this caould have a number of possibilities for the meaning.

  5. John, Paul, George, and Ben would very interesting to me. Early American history interest me, so this looks like a good read.
