Submit a comment to let us know which of these offers look like fun to you. One lucky reader will win two DVDs from The Science of Disney Imagineering series, which has won the Learning magazine Teachers’ Choice Award. Each includes a bonus “try it yourself” experiment and an interactive activity to reinforce what students have learned. (Hint: Disney is offering DVDs from this series for a special price. Order any five for just $19.99 each with code LEARN910. Click here!) Submit your comment by midnight EDT on Friday, November 5, 2010! (Update: Congratulations to Rhonda, who was our winner!)

  1. The Great American Can Roundup sounds like a fantastic
way to get families involved in recycling activities.
First Graders love to help others, and helping the
environment makes sense to them, too. Thanks for all your wonderful freebies!

  2. Love the idea of the great can round up. What a great way to teach recycling and earn something for the school.
    As always Karen great resources.

  3. Take a vet to school day is an great idea as our vets have done so much for our country and they are the main reason our country is they way we are. Children need to know how what the vets have sacrifaced for their country. Susan

  4. I just signed up for the aluminum can recycling contest. I’ve been wanting to get our recycling program going again this year, and this is just the ticket to get everyone excited.

  5. I think the Disney DVD’s look fantastic! I would love to have some in my classroom; kids love science and this would be way too cool!
