Today is Cook Something Bold and Pungent Day. Personally, I’m all about something bold and pungent–but not everyone is. Fortunately, today is also known as Try a New Recipe Day! In celebration, I’m going to give you one of my easiest recipes, in the hopes that it will be new for you. I know that teachers are busy – and so you want something super simple to cook.
Barbecue Beef: I live in North Carolina, so barbecue beef is actually shredded beef that you can have alone or on sandwiches. I made this last week and it’s so easy you barely need a recipe. I bought a London Broil and put salt and pepper on both sides. Then I seared it in a skillet. I slapped it in a crock pot along with a bottle of barbecue sauce (I used Trader Joe’s Organic Sriracha and Roasted Garlic BBQ Sauce–definitely bold and pungent) and some apple cider vinegar. I cooked it on low for 8 hours. Then I shredded the beef and had it on buns with coleslaw. Yummy and easy! Serve it with some sort of veggie–unless you consider coleslaw to be a vegetable. 😉
What is your favorite easy recipe?
Sadly calling my favorite pizza place. I am going to try your beef recipe. Thanks for sharing it sounds yummy
One of my co-workers said that her favorite easy recipe is making reservations. Loved it!
My favorite easy recipe is taking a jar of plain spaghetti sauce & seasoning it to my liking. It makes spaghetti taste better than anything in a jar that is already seasoned.
My favorite and delicious recipes would be putting together leftovers…thus creating a new recipe.
