My holiday vacation is over, and I’m back at my desk. Now I would like to say that I jumped out of bed this morning with enthusiasm, but I never jump out of bed with enthusiasm. Plus I totally messed up my sleep schedule over my winter vacation. Apparently, my natural sleep schedule is from 2:00 am to 10:00 am. Yes, I’m some sort of perpetual college student. So when the alarm went off at 6:30 this morning, I was less than pleased.
I have read several articles lately that state that waking before 10:00 am is actually unnatural for humans and is “equivalent to torture.” Be that as it may, we’re still forced to do it. So I want to know what gets you out of bed in the morning. It might be the thought of your morning coffee, an optimistic attitude, the prospect of a tasty breakfast, a meowing cat, or your children. Let me know, because I could certainly use some ideas to help me get out of bed!

I wish I could sleep until 8 and life would be good for me. But until then I hit the tea.
