I am currently reading Matilda to my 4th graders.
They really enjoy Roald Dahl books.
Reading is a must in preschool. I teach a 2 and half hour long class even though the time is short we often read 2 books per day. Today we read Rainbow Eish and Smiley the Shark.
I often read the children a book but in order to further it I also do a art project based on the book. Another favorite of mine is to find a song that also furthers the book.
My students are going to read Clifford’s First Snow Day today! I love this story and have wanted to read it with them for a while now, but, ironically, snow days have made me keep pushing back my plans!!
