Here’s a contest that’s out of this galaxy: in the Darth Vader Visits Your Library contest, students in grades K-8 describe the perfect planet for Darth Vader’s vacation. Prizes include an actual visit from Darth Vader, Star Wars graphic novels, and more. Get all the details at www.oabookco.com. Entries are due April 1, 2010. The contest is sponsored by Oliver & Andy’s Book Co. and the ABDO Publishing Group |
And, finally, part of my New Year’s resolution this year (and almost every year!) is to keep my office cleaner. Help me in that quest! Post a comment and WIN an assortment of new children’s books. Comments must be posted by December 31, 2009. Good luck! (Congratulations to Rebecca, who was our winner. I’ll be sending a box of books for her and her students to enjoy!)
